Just like you, I used to suffer from sleepless nights. Going around in a fog during the day. Constantly feeling like I had jet lag and experiencing low energy. Miserable!
My boss caught me sleeping at my desk. Not good. I even fell asleep at a stop light and the guy behind me laid on his horn. That’s when I decided I needed to find a way to get some sleep. I had tried pills which stopped working and were habit forming. Must have ten pillows on my bed that I’ve tried.
Then I ran into someone at an event where I was speaking. He came up to me because I had mentioned my sleepless nights. He gave me a recipe that he said was foolproof.
I tried it! Cannot believe it. I slept all night and felt like a million bucks when I got up.
As I promised, here it is:
1. Feet up 15 to 20 minutes before bed. (Stimulates lymph flow.)
2. 1/2 teaspoon of honey with a sprinkle of salt which helps sleep hormone production.
3. Breathe in through nose for a count of 4, hold for a 7 count and exhale for 8 count.(Oxygenates the blood and promotes relaxation.) Repeat 3 or 4 times until relaxed.
4. 1 oz. tart cherry juice before bed. (Helps melatonin production and increases sleep time.)
You can mix honey, salt and tart cherry juice in a cup of chamomile tea to improve taste.
Let me hear from you. Only if it works.
To a restful night, Sharon Zzzz
